Waterville, Maine. - Colby Women's Lacrosse advances to the NESCAC semifinals following a narrow 9-8 win over the Trinity Bantams. The Mules are now 14-2 overall.
Trinity scored the first goal of the game but Mules racked up three goals in response for a score of 3-1 at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter was an exact mirror of the first: three goals scored by Colby followed by one goal scored by the Bantams. The score was 6-2 at the end of the first half. Trinity bookended two goals by the Mules with two goals of their own, for a score of 8-4 at the end of the third quarter. A fourth-quarter push by the Bantams gave Colby a run for their money, but it wasn't enough. The Mules secured a narrow but definitive 9-8 win over Trinity.

Tate Ban led the team in assists with two, followed by Dion and Helmer with one assist each.
Lydia Carr led the team in ground balls followed by
Emily Darby with three.
Kat Munter led the team in caused turnovers with three followed by Carr with two.
The Mules will face off in the Semifinals against the Jumbos of Tufts University on May 3 in Middlebury, VT.
