Boston, Mass. — Putting a historic exclamation point on a decorated collegiate career, Colby Women's Crew senior Eliza Nilson has been named a Second-Team All-American by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA).  

The CRCA All-American awards recognize the most outstanding student-athletes across the nation who have demonstrated elite athletic performance, leadership, consistency, and dedication throughout the season. Nilson's selection places her among the absolute premier rowers in Division III.  

The national accolade adds to an already packed trophy case for the Boston native. Earlier this spring, Nilson capped off her final year on Mayflower Hill by earning her second career Second-Team All-NESCAC selection. She previously took home All-Conference honors during the 2024 season.  

As a vital leader and anchor within Colby's First Varsity Eight boat, Nilson's veteran presence proved instrumental to the Mules' success all spring. Her efforts helped guide the 1V8 to claim the Jennifer McLaughlin Cup and a strong showing at the NIRC/NESCAC Championships.
