Waterville, Maine - The Colby College Women's Soccer team hosted Middlebury College this afternoon. After a hard fought battle, the Mules fell the the Panthers 0-1.
Colby and Middlebury got into action right away, with dominant play from both sides. At 23:12, Middlebury took the lead, but the Mules continued to bring the pressure. Colby totaled 10 shots in the first half, and goalkeeper
MK Marshall made two saves to keep the game within reach. Entering the second half, Colby kept up the offensive energy, outshooting the Panthers 11-3. Goalkeeper
Sadie Gardner played the second half, though Middlebury did not record a shot on goal. Despite strong efforts, the Mules fell 1-0.
Colby will face Maine Maritime Academy on Wednesday at 7:00 PM.
