Box Score Cambridge, Mass. - To kickoff the 2025 campaign, the Mules faced off against some top competition in Cambridge, Mass. this weekend at the MIT Invitational.
Jason Daly had a great performance over the course of the three day event playing at #1 singles and #1 doubles. In singles, he defeated Santa Cruz and Wesleyan foes while in doubles, paired up with
Marco Ziets-Segura, took care of opponents from Santa Cruz, Amherst, and Wesleyan. First year
Rhys Spano grabbed his first collegiate victories against Santa Cruz and Wesleyan opponents in singles and earned a doubles win against Wesleyan. On the last day of competition,
Matthew Jeong and
Sean Wang (first collegiate win) had impressive singles victories against Tufts.
"It was a really good opening weekend for our team at the MIT Invite. All nine players on the team got a lot of matches in both singles and doubles in over the weekend and the experience everyone gained is invaluable. We held our own and experienced success against some of the best teams not only in our region but in the entire country.
