Women’s Squash shows up well but falls short to a talented Middlebury team

Amanda Miller '26

Waterville, Maine - The Colby Women's Squash team worked with dedication and strength through each point this past Sunday against Middlebury.

Laavanya Kugan came through with a distinguishable win at the No. 1 position, three games to love. Tattie Gibbs won her first game and battled hard in each point after as did all others. The score did not depict the skill set demonstrated throughout the matches.

All others put up a fight versus the Panthers but fell in the end 8-1 to one of the most talented Middlebury teams to date.

The Mules, with a 2-3 overall record, will compete against Wesleyan next Saturday at home.
