Waterville, Maine - On Tuesday, July 16th, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their 2024 Women's At-Large Academic All-Americans list across all divisions. 

Kat Munter and Julia Jardina of Colby Women's Lacrosse were named to the DIII Academic All-American Team for their impressive athletic and academic talents. 

Munter earned second team status while playing on the defensive end of the field for the Mules. The rising senior recorded 40 ground balls, 34 draw controls and 30 caused turnovers while starting in all 20 games. Munter finished out the academic year with a 4.00 accumulative GPA while working on her degree in Environmental Science. 

Fellow rising senior Jardina was named to the third team after finishing the season with 48 goals including five game winners, 15 assists, 28 ground balls and 79 draw controls while starting in all 20 games for the Mules. She currently holds a 3.92 accumulative GPA majoring in Biology as well as Spanish.
