Waterville, Maine - On Tuesday the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their 2024 Baseball Academic All-Americans list across all divisions.

Cole Palmeri was named to the DIII Academic All-American Third Team for his impressive athletic and academic talents. With this award, the 2024 NESCAC Player of the Year adds on to his ABCA/Rawlings and D3baseball.com All-American honors from this season. During the 2024 campaign, the senior catcher had 47 hits good for 41 runs, 11 home runs, and 38 RBI while batting with a .416 average. On top of these awards Palmeri, the 2022 NESCAC Defensive Player of the Year, is a three-time All-Conference Team selection and holds the school record for home runs in a season and career and most doubles in a season.
Palmeri graduated in May with a 3.67 GPA majoring in Economics. He will be playing Division I baseball for the University of Richmond Spiders next season while earning a certificate in Data Analytics.
