Storrs, CT | New London, CT | Standish, Maine | - With the Maine State Classic a week away and the NESCAC Championships two weeks out, Colby's Track & Field teams spread out over New England in search of great competition and top qualifying marks for post season. The Mules sent athletes to the UConn Northeast Challenge, the Silfen Invitational at Conn. College, and the Monks Invitational at Saint Joseph's and brought home plenty of hardware.
At UConn, the Mules collected 10 top-15 finishes, highlighted by
Levi Biery (1st, 400m Hurdles),
Erin Daugherty (4th, 100m Hurdles), and the 4x100 Relay team of Daugherty,
Fiona Mejico,
Simone Waheed, and
Kaitlyn Ewald (5th place).
At Conn. College
Gordon Doore raced to 1st place in the 1500m.
Henry Reichle placed 5th in the same event, and Maddie Bush placed 5th in the 800m.
At the Monks Invitational, Colby collected a whopping 23 top-5 finishes, with 18 landing on the podium.
