Birmingham, Ala. - On day two of the NCAA DIII Indoor Track & Field Championships the men's and women's 4x400 relays finished among the top in each of their perspective events. 

After earning the national champion title last year, the women's squad grabbed another podium finish this season placing third with a time of 3:45.84 coming up just short to Wis. - La Crosse (3:45.28) and Wash. U (3:44.54). The men's relay also had an impressive final result taking fourth place with a final time of 3:13.75 just missing out on a top-three spot by .34 seconds.

Overall, the Mules travel home from Birmingham with 10 All-American awards (two individuals, two relays) and will jump right into the outdoor season starting this weekend at the Emory Invitational. 

Day 1
Day one of the NCAA DIII Indoor Track & Field Championships has come to a close with the Mules securing multiple impressive results and two All-American awards. 

To kick off the afternoon Simone Waheed competed in the women's 60m dash. With a personal record of 7.60 seconds, Waheed finished 10th on the day to earn Second Team All-American status just missing out on a top-eight spot to compete in tomorrows final. Jackson Coelho also had a great individual performance placing 11th in the men's 400m. He finished in 48.21 seconds to claim Second Team All-American recognition. The last individual to compete for the Mules on the day was Logan Lehnert in the men's pole vault who placed 20th overall. 

Both the men's and women's 4x400m relays highlighted the day for Colby as each squad took an impressive fourth place finish to set them up for tomorrows final. The women's relay consisting of Tally Zeller, Olivia Doherty, Kaitlyn Ewald, and Charlotte Brake-Hoffman qualified with a time of 3:46.85. Ewald, racing the third leg, had one of the best individual times on the day for a member of a relay securing a time of 55.69. On the men's side Coelho, Mark Graubart, Samuel Graubart, and Levi Biery finished their qualifying performance with a time of 3:13.99. Out of all the individual in the 4x400 relays, Coelho's time of 47.47 was the third fastest.
