Waterville, Maine - To conclude the 2025-26 indoor track and field campaign, 13 Mules will travel to Birmingham, Alabama for this years indoor NCAA Championships taking place at the Birmingham CrossPlex. Competition will kick off Friday March, 13th and conclude the following day.
All-American
Simone Waheed, making her indoor NCAA Championship debut, (has competed in the outdoor championships twice) will represent Colby in the 60M dash with a qualifying time of 7.63 seconds. She is joined by an experienced women's 4x400m relay squad (3:46.60 seed time) consisting of
Tally Zeller,
Olivia Doherty,
Kaitlyn Ewald, and
Charlotte Brake-Hoffman who have all been to either an indoor or outdoor NCAA Championship before and have earned All-American status. First-years
Alex Hermsdorf and
Amanda Schneider will travel with the team as alternates for the relay.
On the men's side of competition,
Logan Lehnert will make his NCAA debut competing in the pole vault event with a current seed mark of 4.93m. All-American
Jackson Coelho, who competed in the outdoor championships last year, will race in the 400m dash (48.05 seed time). He will join
Mark Graubart, Sam Graubart, and All-American
Levi Biery for the 4x400m relay who enter the competition with a 3:13.65 seed time. Sophomore
Reeve Derby will travel as the alternate for the relay team.
For each individual event contested, including the men's heptathlon and women's pentathlon, the top 20 declared student-athletes were accepted into the championships. For each relay event contested, the top 12 declared relay teams, one per institution, were accepted into the championships.
