Philadelphia, Pa.- Colby College Women's Squash traveled to Philadelphia to compete in the quarterfinal round of the College Squash Association Team Championships. The Mules fell to the St. Lawerence University Saints in a close 4-5 match-up to move to 4-10 overall. 

The Mules competed hard in a equal match-up, but nonetheless saw several victories. Abhisheka David defeated her competitor 3-0, holding her points to six points and under in each round. Andrea Lee earned the 3-1 victory, succeeding in her first, third, and forth rounds. Aileen Dominguez and India Spencer took the 3-2 victories for the Mules. Aileen Dominguez fell in a difficult first two rounds but made the comeback to win the next three rounds straight, holding her competitor to five points in each round for the victory. India Spencer had another back-and-forth match-up, falling in her first round but winning her next two rounds straight, with a 14-12 win. In the final round, Spencer beat her competitor 11-3 for the 3-2 victory. 

Tomorrow, February 17th, at 3:00pm, Colby College Women's Squash will compete against the Hamilton College Continentals in the semifinal round of the 2nd consolation tournament of the CSA Team Championships.
