  The Colby Women's and Men's Swimming and Diving teams competed vs. Hamilton and Trinity on Sunday the 24th. Once again the team philosophy of taking every opportunity led to great competition by all. The women continued their best start in over 25 years with decisive victories over both Hamilton 190-110 and Trinity 233-67. The men easily defeated Trinity 219-77 and the meet came down to the final race (400 Freestyle Relay) against Hamilton. A nail biter of a race which eventually went Hamilton's way and they came out wit the victory 153-141.
  For the women there wear many contributors to the overall victories. On both the 1 Meter and 3 Meter Boards,
Avery Rappaport and
Alexandra Friedman went 1, 2 and first year
Eliza Marco won her 2 individual events (100 Breaststroke, 50 Free) and was also a member of both first place relay teams. The Mules started off  the meet by winning the 200 Medley Relay (
Gabriella Landau, Marco,
Lexi Asch,
Lily Moy) and finished it by winning the 400 Freestyle Relay (Marco,
Zoe Buzzelli,
Caitlin Lacey, Moy.) In addition Buzzelli also won the 200 Free, Asch won the 100 Butterfly, Moy won the 100 Freestyle and Lacey won the 200 IM. A great team victory was also highlighted by Marco leading a sweep in the 100 breaststroke with
Emma Cheung getting second and Ellie Mackel getting third.
 The men were lead by Ivan Knoepflecher getting first on both the 1 meter and 3 meter boards as well as a 1, 2 finish in both the 50 and 100 backstroke by Brandon Xiong and Spencer Cohen. Xiong would also go on to win the 50 Freestyle and Cohen won the 200 IM. Brandon Morrison had another victory for the Mules in the 100 Butterfly. A back and forth meet vs. Hamilton there was some great competition among the NESCAC schools.
  The Mules will take a short break for the Thanksgiving holiday before returning and getting ready for the Maine State Invite on December 6th and 7th. Teams from Bates, Bowdoin, U Maine, Wheaton College, Maine Maritime, University of New England and Hussan University will head to Waterville for this 3-session meet. Competition will be gin at 6 pm on the 6th and 10 am on the 7th.
