New London, CT - The Colby Women's Tennis Team defeated NESCAC opponent Connecticut College 9-0 on Saturday, April 22nd.

The Mules dominated in the doubles, winning on all 3 courts. At line 1, junior captains Sam Riordan and Sydney Landau won 8-5. At line 2, senior captain Caleigh McClain and freshman Bella Suk won 8-7(6). At 3rd doubles, freshmen Amelie Gal and Ellie Gershaw won 8-3.

The victories continued for Colby in the singles, with straight set wins on all 6 courts. At line 1, Riordan outlasted Caitlin Cass of Conn 7-5, 7-6(4). At line 2, Landau dominated 6-0, 6-1. At 3rd singles, Gershaw won 6-3, 6-2. At line 4, Suk defeated her opponent 6-2, 6-2. On court 5, McClain won 6-1, 6-2. At line 6, Gal won 6-2, 6-0.

The Mules finish out their regular season against Trinity on Sunday, April 23rd.
