Waterville, ME - The Colby Men's Tennis Team was outlasted by NESCAC rival Bowdoin by a score of 6-3 on Thursday, April 20th.
The Mules went down 2-1 in the doubles. At line 1, senior captain Jan Wenger and sophomore Jake Cohen fell 8-3. At line 2, junior Sam Henry and sophomore James Bogdanovic pulled out their match in a tiebreaker 8-7(5). At line 3, junior captain Joey Barrett and freshman Aidan Kwong lost 8-4.
The Mules were able to win 2 out of 6 singles matches. At line 3, Wenger defeated Pieter Breuker of Bowdoin 6-2, 6-4. At line 5, Henry dominated Ethan Bradley of Bowdoin 6-0, 6-2.
At line 1, Barrett pushed the NESCAC's top player Tristan Bradley to 3 sets, but ultimately fell 6-2, 3-6, 6-4.
The Mules travel to Connecticut to finish out the regular season against Connecticut College and Trinity this weekend.
