New London, CT - The Colby Men's Tennis Team defeated Connecticut College on Saturday, April 22nd by a score of 9-0.

The Mules were victorious on all 3 courts in the doubles. At line 1, senior captain Jan Wenger and sophomore Jake Cohen defeated their opponents 8-5. On court 2, junior Sam Henry and sophomore James Bogdanovic came from behind to win 8-7. At line 3, senior captain Josh Fleishman and junior captain Joey Barrett won 8-3.

The momentum continued for the Mules in the singles, as they won on all 3 courts. At line 1, Barrett overcame Aaron Fleishman of Conn 6-1, 6-2. At line 2, Cohen came from behind in the second set to win 6-1, 6-4. At 3rd singles, Wenger won 6-4, 6-1. On court 4, senior Ben Powis cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 victory. At line 5, Henry won 6-1, 6-3 and on court 6, freshman Aidan Kwong won 6-2, 6-1.

The Mules finish their spring season against Trinity on Sunday, April 23rd.
