Clinton, N.Y. - The Colby Women's Tennis Team started their spring season on the road taking on Hamilton Saturday for a NESCAC matchup resulting in a 2-7 loss for the Mules. 

In doubles, Colby fell 3-0 as Isabella Suk and Maddie Omicioli in the two spot played the best on the Mules side coming up just short falling 7-8. In singles, Colby got on the board picking up two victories. First from Sam Riordan in the one spot over Hamilton's Hannah Apsey (6-2, 6-3) and Suk in the five spot against the Continental's Hannah Walpole (6-4, 2-6, 1-0). Amelie Gal almost pulled out a victory after falling 7-6 in the first then taking the second 7-5 but falling in the last round. 

The Mules will now head to Amherst, Mass. for the second day of the NESCAC weekend road trip.
