Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Colby Struggles In Road Loss

Medford, Mass. - The Mules returned to action hoping to build momentum off their 75-71 victory last weekend against Connecticut College. However, when they returned to the court, they could not find the same success. Colby struggled to find their shot in the first half and only found themselves down 29-27. However, the poor shooting continued, allowing Tufts to pull away. The loss drops the Mules to 15-6 and the Jumbos to 15-5.

Colby struggled in the first half, as they only shot 30 percent from the floor. However, they were able to stick around as they forced Tufts into tough shots and made their way to the free throw line eight times, making seven. This kept the game competitive and within reach for the Mules.

The second half saw Colby get away from what made them successful in the first half. They shot 29 percent from behind the arc and took twice as many threes as they did in the first half. This is what allowed Tufts to build their lead. The Mules were led in scoring by Noah Tyson with 12. Jack Lawson had ten, and Jonah Obi had nine points.

The Mules close their road schedule tomorrow when they face Bates at 3 pm.
