Boston, Mass.- Colby College Women's Cross Country traveled to Boston, Massachusetts to compete in the Suffolk Invitational. The Mules secured the 1st place victory, finishing at the front of 27 teams.
Colby's first-place finish was accompanied by an abundance of top times including five top-twenty finishes! Sophomore
Catherine Mongan led the way for the Mules with a time of 23:28.7 and a ninth-place position, followed close behind by teammate
Claire Beebe for two top-ten racers. Two seconds behind Beebe came
Penny King, who gave Colby three back-to-back finishers. This marks King's fourth straight finish in the top three times of Colby runners.
On Saturday, October 28th, at 11:00 a.m., Colby College Women's Cross Country will travel to Amherst, Massachusetts to compete in the NESCAC Championship.
