Brunswick, Maine – The Colby College men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Maine State Invitational, hosted by Bowdoin on Saturday.
On the men's side,
Greydon Gavin led the Mules with a 23rd-place finish in the 8k (26:49.06), followed by
Hugh McGuire (41st, 27:37.84),
Ciaran Groom (42nd, 27:39.65),
James Regan (45th, 27:45.53), and Nate Goodman (49th, 27:48.30) to round out the scoring five.
For the women,
Alexandra Herman paced the team with a 37th-place finish in the 6k at 23:25.06. She was followed by
Marianne Spyra (61st, 24:37.86),
Paige Goodwin (62nd, 24:58.03),
Norah Mills (63rd, 25:44.78), and
Hannah Hill (88th, 27:19.53).
The Mules will return to action on October 4 at the Keene State Invitational in Keene, N.H.
