Brunswick, Maine - The Colby Women's Swimming and Diving team headed to Brunswick on Saturday for the CBB meet. The Mules topped the Polar Bears 152-141 but came up short to the Bobcats 111-188.
Ann Tolan got Colby on the board to start with a first place finish in the 50 Freestyle at a time of 23.81. In the diving portion, the Mules stayed dominant sweeping the top three spots in the one and three meter as
Avery Rappaport grabbed first in both with scores of 302.75 and 294.60 followed by
Monet Meyer with 254.80 and 253 points and
Eleanor McGrath with 246.25 and 243.70 points. Lastly in the team events, Colby took the 200 freestyle relay (
Lily Moy,
Gabriella Landau,
Ann Tolan,
Kellen Mottl) with a time of 1:36.28.
Some silver place finishes include Landau in the 100 backstroke (57.92), Tolan in the 100 freestyle (53.32), and Mottl in the 200 breaststroke (2:26.22).
Women's Swimming and Diving will wrap up their regular season February 19th at Wesleyan for the Women's February Invite.
