Providence, R.I.- Colby College Women's Squash competed against the Brown University Bears, winning 7-2. The Mules are now 5-8 overall and 3-4 in NESCAC conference competition.
Some highlights include three 3-0 matches from
Amanda Miller,
India Spencer, and
Juliette Love.
Andrea Lee had a back-and-forth match with two round wins before two round losses to take it to the fifth round. In the fifth round,
Andrea Lee defeated her competitor 11-6 for her third straight match win.
Aileen Dominguez dropped a really close first round 10-12, before winning her next two rounds then in her fourth round, it once again reached 10-10, but this time she took the two-point lead to win the match.
Mehak Dey-Kohli lost her second round but came back to win her final two rounds to win the match.
On Wednesday, January 25th, Colby College Women's Squash will travel to Lewiston, Maine to compete against the Bates College Bobcats.
