New London, Conn. - The Colby College Volleyball team pushes their win streak to five after defeating Connecticut College 3-2 in a close game to open up conference play (25-17, 26-28, 18-25, 25-23, 15-13).
The Mules were able to rally back after being down two sets to one to pull out the victory by just two points in the final set. Although the team stats were fairly identical between the two, Colby's 12 total blocks compared to Connecticut's eight gave the Mules that extra edge to pull out the victory.
LJ Grant once again led the Mules in kills with 20, followed by
Hannah Wyllie's 13, and
Natalie Bumpus with 8.
Sydney Sick dropped 42Â assist on the night.Â
Hopefully the Mules can get enough rest tonight as they head to Brunswick tomorrow to take on Bowdoin College in another NESCAC matchup.
