Brunswick, Maine - After defeating Connecticut College the night before, the Colby College Volleyball team pulls out another NESCAC victory, this time over Bowdoin College 3-1, improving their win streak to start the season to six games (25-13, 25-19, 23-25, 25-21). The last time Colby beat the Polar Bears was during the NESCAC Championship season in 2005 when the Mules took all three contests of the season.
The Polar Bears of Bowdoin were able to put up a good fight in the last three sets, but it was not enough to stop the full charging Mules. Colby put up a team total of 15 aces on the afternoon, led by
LJ Grant with 6. Grant also led the team in kills with 14 and
Hannah Wyllie close behind with 13.
Sydney Sick continues to set up her teammates as she gathered 40 assists, which was coming off of 42 assist the night before.
The Mules will have a two day break before facing Maine Maritime Academy Tuesday on their home court.
