New Orleans - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its first National Rankings of the 2022 Outdoor season this week, and the Colby College Mules were ranked 5th in the country. The team is up fifteen spots from their preseason ranking after finishing 2nd in a 24-team field at the Emory Invitation in Atlanta, Ga.

Colby, with its six national top-10 performances, ranks fifth. Sadé Greenidge has the top mark out of any Mule with her division-leading 200m of 25.01. Greenidge is also among the top-5 performers in the 100m at 12.02.
Sharde Johnson has two top-5 marks of her own coming in the high jump (No. 2, 1.69m/5-6½) and triple jump (No. 3, 11.24m/36-10½)."
Colby is one of three NESCAC schools in the top-25 rankings, joined by Middlebury (2nd) and Tufts (14th).
