Lewiston, ME- The Mules faced the Bobcats for the first time this season in a nine-inning matchup. Elijah Cohen, with the help of Frank Driscoll, gained the 9-4 win for the Mules.
The Mules were looking to improve from last weekend as first-year Elijah Cohen took the mound for the Mules. Pitching 4.0 innings and giving up minimal runs, Cohen was able to shut down the Bobcat offense. Starting off at a 2-0 deficit, the Mules were able to trigger their offense through first-year Patrick McConnell (pictured left), as he had one RBI and three hits in six at bats. The third inning proved to seal the deal for the Mules as they would score five of their runs in this inning. First-years made their mark offensively as they carried the Mules to a 9-4 win against Bates. Senior Frank Driscoll earned the win in the victory as the Mules improve to 9-10 on the season.
The Mules face Bates again tomorrow in a nine-inning matchup at 1pm. Remember no visitors are permitted on Colby's campus and remember to wear a mask!
