The Colby Mules split the team with some Mules competing at Bowdoin and some competing at Bates, but that didn't stop the "4 shoes 1 mule" team spirit.

Event winners on the women's side were
Charlotte Franck (pictured left) in the 400m (60.38),
Sharde Johnson in the high jump (1.68m),
Katie-Marie Roy in the pole vault (3.25m), and
Annah Rossvall in the 400m hurdles (68.78). Other strong finishers by the Mules included Sadé Greenidge, who finished 2nd in both the 100m (12.28) and 200m (25.67), and
Kaylie Vallee who secured 2nd in the long jump (4.95m) and triple jump (11.32m).
Margaret Bannon and
Charlotte Freniere rounded out top finishes in the 400m with 62.11 and 62.13, respectively.
The men's team saw similar success. Colby took first and second in the 200m with first year
Dorian Gilmartin in the lead (22.63) and Cameron Labree finishing close behind (23.02). Gilmartin also captured second place in the 100m (10.85), enough for 4th fastest time in Colby men's track and field history.
JT Munz finished first in the 400m for the Mules (51.42). First year
Kyle Dube won the 400m hurdles with a time of 58.41.
The distance crew had a strong showing, taking first through fourth place in the 1500m with first year
Quinn Potter in the lead (4:15.71), followed by
Aiden Duncanson (4:16.73),
Sam Posner (4:16.86), and
Matt DeAngelis (4:19.84).
Tyler Morris and
Ben Mellor rounded out the distance crew with first (8:51.85) and second place (8:57.40) in the 3000m, respectively. The men's team also won the 4x400 relay with a time of 44.67 (Dube, Giesser, Munz, Sweeny).
The Mules look to improve their season and success next week competing against both Bowdoin and Bates again.
