Box Score Waterville, Maine - The Men's Lacrosse team opened at home against the Connecticut College Camels on a day meant to celebrate the seniors. There were a number of fans safely in attendance to celebrate the team and cheer throughout an exciting game of lacrosse.

The game was neck and neck throughout the first three quarters of play. Each quarter ended in a tie, but the Mules endured through and were able to outscore the Camels 5-2 in the fourth quarter. The game was even throughout the entire time of play, coming up with equal ground balls, equal in clears, equal in turnovers. Where Colby succeeded was preventing shots from the Camel attack. In the second half, Colby out shot Conn 29-16. Additionally, Colby only had eight turnovers to the Camels 18 allowing for more consistent possessions.
Noah Froio (pictured left) and
Jack Rickards had six and five goals respectively, making for a solid attack by the Mules. Though play was even relatively even throughout the game, Colby was able to play strong through the entire game resulting in a sweet win to celebrate the seniors in one of their last games as a Mule.
The Mules will challenge Tufts University next weekend at home. They will play on Mayflower Hill at 2:00pm on May 1st. If you are in the testing bubble we ask that you remember to mask up and socially distance and if you're not in the testing program, please stream the game from our website.
