HARTFORD, Conn. -- Colby College first-years Hannah Griffin and Addie Paige each won three individual events and were part of a relay win in the Mules' 170-129 victory over Hamilton College in women's swimming and diving at Trinity College on Sunday.
Griffin was a winner in the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.55), the 200 backstroke (2:12.24), and the 400 individual medley (4:44.22). Paige captured the 100 butterfly (59.86), 200 butterfly (2:13.78), and the 500 freestyle (5:20.98).
Griffin and Paige also teamed with Hannah McGrath and Katie Tuohy to win the 200 medley relay in 1:54.82.
Colby also received wins from Lacey Wright (pictured) in the 1,000 freestyle (11:15.02), Tess White in the 50 freestyle (26.23), and Steph Fawell in 3-meter diving (201.23 points).
White, Abigail Taylor-Roth, Tuohy, and Lexi Phillips won the 200 freestyle relay in 1:44.99.
Colby had runner-up finishes from Alexandra Destaebler in the 1,000 freestyle (11:25.30), Taylor-Roth with a 2:03.71 in the 200 freestyle, McGrath in the 100 backstroke (1:03.32), Fawell with 202.12 points in 1-meter diving, Alicia Elliott with 192.15 points on the 3-meter board, White in the 100 freestyle (57.64), and Wright with a 5:24.04 in the 500 freestyle.
Colby will swim at Middlebury College this Saturday at 1 p.m.
