NEW LONDON, Conn. -- Paige Hanssen had another fine match with 19 kills, eight digs, three service aces, and two blocks in Colby College's 3-1 loss to Connecticut College in NESCAC volleyball Saturday.
The Camels (8-11, 2-6 NESCAC) won by set scores of 25-18, 22-25, 28-26, 25-13.
By the numbers
* Hanssen leads the NESCAC in total kills (225) and kills per set (3.95).
* Elizabeth Middlebrook added seven kills and nine digs for the Mules (5-12 overall, 0-8 NESCAC). Molly Manuel finished with 36 assists and eight digs, Erin Maidman had 19 digs, and Blair Sullivan (pictured) totaled three aces and six digs. Simone Sears and Nicole Peterbridge each had four kills.
Next up
* The Mules will play two matches at University of Southern Maine next Saturday. Colby faces Western Connecticut State at 2 p.m. and then meet host USM at 4 p.m.
