Tilghman Moyer joined the Colby Men's Crew coaching staff to start the 2023-24 academic year.
A product of the Philadelphia youth, club and collegiate rowing community, Tilghman brings a broad range of coaching, rowing and racing experience to Mayflower Hill and Colby Crew. Additionally, his experiences as a long distance hiker (having completed the Long Trail, the Appalachian Trail and over 1500 miles of the Continental Divide Trail) and as a wildland firefighter, help shape the team’s understanding of hard work, goal setting, tenacity and daily effort in achieving your goals. Colby’s location, access to the outdoors and to the natural beauty of Maine, along with the elite education available to student-athletes are part of what drew Tilghman to Colby.
