Helen Bulford, originally from Akron, Ohio, joined the Colby Athletics Sports Medicine staff in the fall of 2021.
She came to Colby after two years at The Ohio State University. At OSU, Helen was primarily responsible for providing care to the field hockey team and assisted with men's lacrosse, football and women's tennis. Prior to this, she completed a graduate assistantship at Boston University providing care for varsity softball, men's rugby and various club sports while completing her master's degree in Human Physiology.Â
Helen received her Bachelor in Athletic Training as a Buckeye in 2017. She continually seeks to improve her ability to provide high quality care and has completed several advanced skill courses including Dry Needling and Spinal Manipulation.Â
Helen provides direct medical services for Football, Women's Basketball, Alpine Skiing and Softball.Â
