Gina Lombard

Gina Lombard joined the Colby Women's Basketball coaching staff in the summer ahead of the 2026-27 academic year.

Prior to Colby, Gina was an assistant coach at Beaver Country Day School in Chestnut Hill, Mass., while pursuing a Master of Public Health at Boston University. Her responsibilities included player development, on court instruction, and game planning. Gina also spent time coaching AAU for the New England Panthers, as well as working as a skills trainer.

As a player at Oberlin College, Gina played three seasons starting every game of her college career where she holds the record for most threes made in a game, and led the conference in threes made in a season twice. She was a two time all-conference selection in her three years.

Gina earned her Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Oberlin College, and her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Boston University.

“I’m so excited to be part of such a competitive program here at Colby and get to work with these incredible student athletes. I’m very grateful to Coach Harris for the opportunity, and I can’t wait to get started!”
