Casie Runksmeier joined the Colby Athletics Staff during the new year of 2022 as the Senior Woman Administrator (SWA) and Associate Director of Athletics.
Runksmeier comes to Mayflower Hill from Mitchell College where she was the Associate Athletics Director for Internal Operations and Student Success. She also served as the Compliance Coordinator, the SWA, and spent time guiding the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
"Colby is thrilled with the addition of Casie to our department," said Mike Wisecup, Vice President and Harold Alfond Director of Athletics. "With more than 16 years of administrative and coaching experience within Division III, she will bring a vast amount of energy and expertise to our department. Coaches, staff, and students alike will benefit from her teamwork and guidance."
Prior to her tenure at Mitchell, Runksmeier spent time in various capacities at Daniel Webster College, New England College, and the University of Southern Maine. She has held roles within the NCAA such as Site Representative for the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championships (hosted by Williams College in 2016), and as a facilitator at the NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum in both Chicago and Dallas.
"I am excited to be joining an institution and department that is invested in both its facilities and programs," reflected Runksmeier. "Earlier in my career, I spent seven years in Maine and am thrilled to experience all that it has to offer. Throughout the interview process, I was able to interact with a very talented team of people and look forward to collaborating with all of them.
