Colby College

Bob Coppola joined the Colby Athletics Administrative team during the 2022-23 academic year as the Director of Athletic Fundraising and Development.

Coppola comes to Mayflower Hill from Brown University where he oversaw all aspects of fundraising and development for the Bears football program including the annual fund, endowments, and capital projects. Previously Coppola spent several years in the Dartmouth Athletic department where he was responsible for fundraising and development of seven varsity teams and the Athletic Sponsors recruiting fund. Coppola began his career as a college football coach spending time at Middlebury and Holy Cross. 

At Colby Coppola is responsible for fundraising and development across all 30 varsity programs and the club sports/recreation programs. His role encompasses annual funding, capital gifts and endowment gifts to support Colby Athletics and provide our student-athletes and coaches with every resource available to succeed.

Coppola earned his bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University where he lettered in football and track & field. He earned his MBA from the University of Oregon.
