BEFORE COLBY
Kate graduated from Phillips Academy Andover, where she was a member of the volleyball and crew teams. A captain for volleyball, she was a NEPSAC Class A All-Star. Kate was also a consistent honor roll student. She interned in securities at Goldman Sachs.
AT COLBY
Kate is majoring in Economics with a Financial Markets concentration. She is a Colby Cares About Kids mentor. Kate's brother, Mike '15, played football for the Mules.
2017 season highlights: Kate was fourth on the team in kills (71), third in service aces (21), and fifth in defensive digs (119). She was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.
2016 season highlights: Wincek appeared in 28 matches for the Mules, finishing the season with 31 kills, 18 assists, 17 service aces, 179 digs, and three blocks. She was named to the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.
2015 season highlights: Wincek missed the season due to injury. She was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.
2014 season highlights: Wincek finished her first season with the Mules with 91 kills and 120 defensive digs. Wincek also added 14 aces.
