Biography
BEFORE COLBY
Liz graduated from St. Andrews Episcopal School, where she was a member of the cross country, indoor track, and lacrosse teams. She was a high honor student and a member of the Cum Laude Society.
AT COLBY
Liz majors in Psychology and has a minor in German. She is also a member of the Colby Outing Club and is a mentor for Colby Cares About Kids.
2017 outdoor season highlights: Liz was second in the 5,000 meters at the Bowdoin Invitational and fourth in the event at the Aloha Relays. She also took eighth in the 10,000 meters at the NESCAC Championships and was 12th in the 5,000 at the New England Division III meet.
2017 indoor season highlights: Holland was fourth in the 3,000 meters at the Wheaton Invitational and fourth in the 1,000 meters at the Bowdoin meet. She took fifth place in the 5,000 meters at the Maine State meet and was sixth in the mile in a tri-meet with Bates and MIT.
2016 outdoor season highlights: Holland started the outdoor season at the Bowdoin Invitational with a ninth-place finish in the 1,500 meters. At the Colby Open, Liz finished the 1,500 meters in fourth place, along with a personal best time of 5:14.10. Liz closed out the season at the Aloha Relays with a 14th-place finish in the 1,500 meters and competed in the 4x800 meter relay.
2016 indoor season highlights: Holland finished seventh in the 1,000 meters at the Bates tri-meet and ninth in the mile at the Maine State meet.
2015 cross country season highlights: Holland opened the season by taking 12th in the Bates first-year/sophomore race and 15th at the Bowdoin Invitational. Liz then took 40th at the Maine State Championships and 107th at the NESCAC Championships.
