Biography

BEFORE COLBY

Hannah graduated from Hopkins School, where she was a member of the cross country and track teams. She was named All-New England and All-FAA in cross country, and was the recipient of the Hopkins Award and the Most Outstanding Female Athlete Award.

AT COLBY 

Hannah is majoring in Physics and has a minor in Art.

2017 outdoor season highlights: Hannah placed third in the 1,500-meter run (4:48.41) at Bowdoin's Aloha Relays.

2017 indoor season highlights: Springhorn placed third in the mile (4:55.49) at the Open New England Championships and took 14th in the event at the NCAA meet.

2016 outdoor season highlights: Springhorn started the outdoor season at the Colby Open with a victory in the 1,500 meters. At the Aloha Relays, Hannah raced to a third in the 1,500 meters. Hannah finished out her first year at the NESCAC Championships, helping the 4x800 meter relay team to an eighth-place finish and raced to a 10th-place finish in the 1,500 meters and a personal best with a time of 4:44.13.

2016 indoor track season highlights: Springhorn finished second in the 1,200 meters at the Wheaton Invitational, second with the 4x800 relay team, and third in the 800 meters at the Maine State Championships. Hannah finished 14th with the 4x800 meter relay team and fifth in the DMR at the Open New England Championships. Springhorn finished the season at the Tufts Final Qualifying Meet, finishing sixth in the DMR.

2015 cross country season highlights: Springhorn opened the season by taking fourth in the Bates first-year/sophomore Race. She then finished 13th at the Maine State Championships and 104th at the NESCAC Championships.
