Biography

BEFORE COLBY

Cait graduated from Concord-Carlisle Regional High, where she was a member of the cross-country, indoor track, and outdoor track teams. She was named to the honor roll, captained each team her senior year, and was an all-league indoor and outdoor track selection. Cait received the 2014 Arthur Dulong Academic and Athletic Excellence Award.

AT COLBY 

Cait majors in Biology (pre-med) and minors in Chemistry at Colby. She was a transfer from Providence College and is a member of the Colby Chemistry Club.

2017 outdoor season highlights: Cait was second in the 5,000 meters (17:30.05) in the 3,000 meters at the NESCAC meet. She was was first in the 5,000 at the Bowdoin Invitational, second in the 1,500 meters at the MIT Last Chance event, and took 12th in the 1,500 against mostly Division I runners in a meet at Princeton. Cait was on the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team. 

2017 indoor season highlights: Lawlor broke a 27-year-old school record by 17 seconds in finishing second in the 3,000 meters (9:47.73) at the Open New England Championships. She took 10th place in the 3,000 meters at the NCAA meet and also competed in the event at the Boston University Valentine's meet. Lawlor was named to the NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team.

2016 outdoor season highlights: Lawlor started the outdoor season at the Aztec Open with a 28th-place finish in the 1,500 meters. Cait finished the year at the PLNU Invitational, finishing the 800 meters in 20th.

2016 indoor season highlights: Lawlor finished seventh in the 1,200 meters at the Wheaton Invitational and first in the 3,000 at the Maine State Championships to open the season. Caitlin finished 22nd in the DMR at the David Hemery Invitational, then finished fifth in the same event at the Open New England Championships and sixth at the Tufts Final Qualifying Meet. She was named to the NESCAC Winter All-Academic team.

2015 cross country season highlights: Lawlor opened the season by finishing sixth in the Bates first-year/sophomore race, 73rd at the Lehigh Invitational, third at the Maine State Championships, and 42nd at the NESCAC Championships. She finished her season by finishing 36th at the New England Division III Championships.
