Why I chose Colby: I chose Colby because I wanted a small liberal arts school in an area with easy access to outdoor activities.

Plans After Colby: Melinda aspires to have a career in marine biology and field research.
2020 Season Highlights: Edie started all all six games of the shortened 2020 season. She collected 12 ground balls, seven caused turnovers and even registered her first collegiate goal on March 10th at the University of New England.
2019 Season Highlights: Melinda started 16 games for the Mules as a junior. The defender registered 37 ground balls, 19 caused turnovers and 3 draw controls. She recorded a season-high six ground balls and four caused turnovers on April 24th vs. Bates.
2018 Season Highlights: Edie made the IWLCA All-Region Second Team for the second straight year after leading Colby in ground balls (39) and caused turnovers (28). She also had her first collegiate point with an assist.
2017 Season Highlights: Melinda had a big first season with the Mules, earning IWLCA All-Region Second Team and All-NESCAC Second Team honors as a defender. She was third on Colby in ground balls (27) and added 16 draw controls and 15 caused turnovers. Edie started all 19 games for the Mules.
