Biography

BEFORE COLBY

Emilie played soccer and lacrosse at the Brooks School. She earned all-league first team honors in her junior and senior seasons. Klein was an all-state selection in her senior year. Emilie, a member of the Cum Laude Society, was an Academic All-American after her junior and senior seasons for lacrosse. She also earned all-league first team honors her senior season for lacrosse.

Emilie has a double major in Global Studies and Environmental Policy.

2017 lacrosse season highlights: Emilie, a captain, had a huge final season while earning IWLCA First Team All-American honors. She also was on the IWLCA All-Region First Team, was the NESCAC Defensive Player of the Year, and earned All-NESCAC First Team honors. Klein was first in the NESCAC in caused turnovers (35), 13th in ground balls (31), and tied for 14th in draw controls (38). Emilie also had 19 goals and 12 assists for 31 points. She had four goals, three draw controls, and two caused turnovers in Colby's 13-9 win over Trinity in the NESCAC title game. Klein finished her career with 100 draw controls, 93 ground balls, 87 caused turnovers, 40 goals, and 19 assists.

2016 soccer season highlights: Klein appeared in all 15 games for the Mules, making 14 starts. She finished the season with one goal. Klein served as a captain for the second year. A two-time captain, she finished her career with eight goals and four assists.

2016 lacrosse season highlights: Klein played in 13 games for the Mules and started in all of them. She finished the season with 10 goals, two assists, 20 ground balls, and led the team and was eighth in the NESCAC with 23 caused turnovers. She was named to the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.

2015 soccer season highlights: Klein started in 14 games on defense for the Mules, finishing the year with one shot. She was one of three captains for the Mules.

2015 lacrosse season highlights: Klein was tied for 13th in the NESCAC in caused turnovers (17) and was 17th in ground balls (27). She appeared in 15 games, making eight starts. Emilie finished the season with seven goals and four assists, and was second on the team with 27 ground balls and 19 draw controls.

2014 soccer season highlights: Klein played in all 16 games for the Mules in her sophomore season, making 15 starts.

2014 lacrosse season highlights: Emilie made 17 starts and appeared in all 18 games for the Mules in her first season. Klein finished the season with four goals and one assist along with a shot percentage of .444. Klein also compiled 15 ground balls, 26 draw controls, and was tied for second on the team in caused turnovers (12).

2013 soccer season highlights: Emilie stepped in and made an impact on defense by starting all 15 games in her first year.
