BEFORE COLBY
Celeste graduated from the Dana Hall School (Mass.) and played field hockey, ice hockey, and lacrosse. Celeste was an EIL Honorable Mention selection her sophomore year, and an EIL All-League and NEPSAC All-Star selection her junior and senior seasons.
AT COLBY
Celeste is a Biology major with a concentration in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. Celeste has also served as a member of the Colby Cares About Kids program and the Student Athletic Advisory Committee.
2017 season highlights: Celeste had her best season, finishing first on Colby in shot percentage (83.3). She had five goals on just six shots and had one assist. Celeste also had seven ground balls, five draw controls, and one caused turnover. She was on the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.
2016 season highlights: Murtha played in 11 games for the Mules and made two starts, finishing the season with one goal, one ground ball, and two caused turnovers. She was named to the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.
2015 season highlights: Celeste appeared in seven games for the Mules and had three goals and one assist. She had a shot percentage of .750. Additionally, Celeste finished the season with four ground balls, four draw controls, and one caused turnover. She was on the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.
2014 season highlights: Murtha appeared in four games for the Mules and finished the season with three goals on a shot percentage of .500 and had one assist.
