Mikayla graduated with honors from the Kent School, where she played soccer, hockey, softball, and lacrosse. She captained the soccer and lacrosse teams her senior year. Mikayla works at the family business, McLaughlin Seafood in Bangor, Maine.

AT COLBY 

Mikayla is an American Studies major. Her sister, Katie, is a 2017 graduate and an assistant coach on the team.

2018-19 season highlights: McLaughlin played in 24 games on defense for the Mules. She recorded one assist and one game-winning goal in conference games this season.

2017-18 season highlights: Mikayla played in 23 games for the Mules. She finished the season with three goals and one assist.

2016-17 season highlights: McLaughlin played in all 24 games in her sophomore season. She had four goals and two assists for six points on the year. Mikayla was second in scoring on the Mules among defenders. She had one power play goal and one game-tying score.

2015-16 season highlights: McLaughlin played in all 25 games for the Mules, tallying two goals in her first year.
