Biography

Why I chose Colby: "I chose Colby because I loved the environment of a small liberal arts college where I could pursue an elite education while playing a high level of hockey. I loved Maine, and knew after my overnight that this was the school for me."

Internship/Work Experience: Izzy was a Spring Campaign Intern for Janet Mills' campaign for Governor and was an Undergraduate Legal Intern for Bernstein Shur.

Major: Government

Favorite Place on Campus: The Spa

Plans After Colby: "Continue working in the legal or political field. I plan on going to law school or graduate school within the next few years."

 

2019-20 season highlights: Tegtmeyer was named as a team captain for the 19-20 season. Tegtmeyer played in all 26 games this season, reaching the 100 games played mark. This was the first time since the 16-17 season a player has reached the century games played mark. Tegtmeyer registered two goals and four assists for a total of six points. Tegtmeyer was named to the NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team. 

2018-19 season highlights: Tegtmeyer played in all 25 games on defense for the Mules this season. She tallied five assists on the year.

2017-18 season highlights: Tegtmeyer played in all 25 games on defense for the Mules, tallying six assists. She was named to the NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team.

2016-17 season highlights: Tegtmeyer played in all 24 games in her first year at Colby. She had two assists playing on defense.
