Adrienne ran cross country, competed in track and field, and and was on the swim team at John Bapst Memorial High School. She was the cross country team captain, a National Merit Scholar, and the salutatorian of her class.
AT COLBY
Adrienne has a double major in Educational Studies and Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies. Carmack has a minor in Statistics. She is a member of the Feminist Alliance and the Hardy Girls Healthy Women group, an Education Research Assistant, and a mentor in Violence Prevention.
2016 cross country season highlights: Adrienne is a co-captain of the women's cross country team.
2016 outdoor season highlights: Carmack started the outdoor season at the PLNU Invitational with a sixth-place finish in the 3,000 steeplechase. At the Bowdoin Invitational, Adrienne raced to a win in the 5,000 meters. Carmack followed it up with a second-place finish in the 3,000 steeplechase at the Colby Open. At the Aloha Relays, she raced to a second in the 5,000 meters and a 10th-place finish in the 400 dash, setting a personal best with a time of 1:07.77. Adrienne closed out her sophomore season with a 14th-place finish in the 3,000 steeplechase at the NESCAC Championships. Adrienne also earned NESCAC Spring All-Academic honors.
2016 indoor track season highlights: Carmack finished eighth in the 3,000 at the Bates tri-meet and fifth in the mile at the Bowdoin Invitational. She was named to the NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team.
2015 cross country season highlights: Carmack finished ninth in the Bates first-year/sophomore race to open the season, then finished 31st at the Maine State Championships, and 71st at the NESCAC Championships. She finished her season by finishing 44th at the ECAC Championships. Adrienne was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.
2015 outdoor track season highlights: Carmack opened the season by winning the 5,000 at the Point Loma Invitational on the California trip. Carmack then took second in the 3,000 steeplechase at the Colby Invitational. Carmack was sixth in the 5,000 at the Bowdoin Invitational and 16th in the same event at the NESCAC Championships. Adrienne concluded her season by finishing 16th in the 3,000 steeplechase at the New England Division III Championships.
2015 indoor track season highlights: Carmack finished 10th in the mile at the Bowdoin Invitational and fourth in the 5,000 at the Maine State Championships in her first season with the team.
2014 cross country season highlights: Carmack had a solid first season with the Mules, finishing 14th in the first-year/sophomore race at Bates and 26th in the Maine State Championships.
