Biography

BEFORE COLBY

Libby graduated from Bangor High School (Maine) and was a member of the soccer and diving teams. Libby was an Academic All-American, a member of the National Honor Society, and named the PVCC Diver of the Year her senior season.

AT COLBY 

Libby is an English and Educational Studies double major. She is also a member of the Multicultural Literacy Group, the Colby Leadership Academy, and volunteers as a junior high school tutor in Waterville during the academic year.

2016-2017 season highlights: Libby sat in the varsity 8 boat for the fourth straight year and rowed from the sixth spot. She helped the Mules take 11th at the National Invitational Rowing Championships (NIRC), 10th at the New England Championships, wins over Coast Guard and UMass-Lowell in a tri-meet, and a victory at spring opener in Georgia. Libby was on the NIRC All-Academic Team and the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.

2014-2015 season highlights: Huber, rowing with the first varsity boat, opened the season by helping the Mules finish fourth at the Textile River Regatta in the first position. At the Head of the Charles Regatta, Huber rowed in the second position and the Mules finished 17th. Libby finished the season in the fifth position, and the Mules finished second at the Lowell Regatta, fourth at the Worcester Regatta, 10th at the New England Rowing Championship, and 12th at the ECAC National Championship.

2013-2014 season highlights: Huber opened the season in the sixth position of the first varsity boat, and the Mules finished first at the Lowell Regatta. Huber finished the season in the third position, and helped the team finish 11th at the New England Rowing Championship and 12th at the ECAC National Championship.
