BEFORE COLBY

Katy graduated from Notre Dame Academy, where she played softball. She was a member of the National Honors Society. Katy has led multiple Overland backpacking trips in Wyoming and Washington.

AT COLBY

Katy is majoring in Biology and Environmental Science. She is part of the Colby Cares About Kids Student Advisory Board, an Area Resident Director, and a member of the Mayflower Chill acappella group.

2017-2018 season highlights: Katy, a captain for the Mules, rowed in the second spot for the women's varsity 8.

2016-2017 season highlights: Katy rowed from the eighth spot in the boat for the women's second varsity 8. She helped the crew place eighth at both the National Invitational Rowing Championships (NIRC) and the New England Championships. She also helped the second varsity 8 to a win in Georgia and victories over U. New Hampshire and U. Vermont. 

2014-2015 season highlights: Donchik competed on the second varsity boat and rowed from the fourth position. She helped the Mules finish fourth at the Worcester Regatta, first at the UNH Regatta, ninth at the New England Rowing Championship, and 13^th at the ECAC National Championship.
