BEFORE COLBY

Elli graduated from Andover High School. She rowed in the varsity boat for Greater Lawrence Rowing Club, where she was named a captain and Most Valuable Oarsman. Elli's boat also competed at Youth Nationals. She interned in environmental consulting at AEI in Boston.

AT COLBY

Elli is majoring in Environmental Policy with a minor in Geology. 

2017-2018 season highlights: Elli, a captain in her junior season, once again rowed from the stroke spot (8) for the women's varsity 8. She was on the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team and the National Invitational Rowing Championships All-Academic Team. 

2016-2017 season highlights: Elli rowed from the eighth spot for the varsity 8 boat, earned All-New England Small College Athletic Conference Second Team honors, and was named team MVP. She helped the varsity 8 crew to an 11th-place finish at the National Invitational Rowing Championships (NIRC) and a 10th at the New England Rowing Championships. Elli also helped the team to a victory in Georgia and in a tri-meet with UMass-Lowell and Coast Guard. She was on the NIRC All-Academic Team and the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team. 

2015-2016 season highlights: Mapstone competed in the first varsity boat in her first season. She helped the Mules finish first in the Colby regatta, eighth overall at the New England Championships, and 11th overall at the ECAC National Championship.
