Biography

Arthur graduated from Darien High School.

AT COLBY 

Arthur has a double major in Psychology and Environmental Policy.

2018 outdoor season highlights: Arthur helped the 3,200 relay take first at the Southern New Hampshire Invitational, eighth at the NESCAC meet, and 10th at the New England Division III Championships. He also was part of the fourth place 1,600 relay at the Maine State meet.

2018 indoor season highlights: Arthur finished second in the 1,000 meters at the Bates Invitational and placed eighth in the 800 meters at the Wheaton meet.

2017 outdoor season highlights: Arthur finished in fifth place and first among Colby runners in the 800 meters (2:01.17) at the Tufts Sunshine Classic. He ran the second leg in helping the 3,200 relay team finish third at the state meet and was part of the third place team in the 1,600 at the Tufts meet.

2017 indoor season highlights: Cassidy competed in the 600 meters and 3,200 relay. His relay team finished third at the Maine State Championships. 

2016 outdoor season highlights: Cassidy started the outdoor season at the Colby Open with a fourth-place finish in the 800 meters and helped the 4x400 relay team to a second. Arthur finished in seventh at the Maine State meet in the 800 meters. Cassidy finished out the season at the NESCAC Championships, where he finished 20th in the 800 meters and helped the 4x800 relay team to a ninth-place finish.

2016 indoor season highlights: Cassidy finished third in the 1,000 meters at the USM Open to start the season. At the Bates tri-meet, Arthur finished sixth in the 1,000 meters and fifth with the 4x400 relay team. Cassidy finished third in the 800 meters at the Wheaton Invitational, third with the 4x800 relay team at the Maine State Championships, and sixth in the 800 meters at the same event. At the New England Division III Championships, Cassidy took 13th in the 800 meters and helped the 4x800 team finish 15th. Cassidy finished his first indoor season by helping the 4x800 team place 16th at the Open New England Championships.
