BEFORE COLBY
Matthew swam for Oyster River School and was Student Athlete of the Year in 2016.
AT COLBY
Matthew is a Computer Science and Studio Art double major. He is also a Sexual Misconduct Peer Educator. Over the summer, Matthew worked as a Liberty Mutual TechStart intern.
2017-18 season highlights: Jones had two victories in the 100 butterfly, as well as a victory in the 200 medley relay during the season. He also had second place finishes in the 50 and 100 butterfly, 200 and 400 medley relay, and 400 freestyle relay.
2016-17 season highlights: Jones consistently finished in the top three in the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke events during the season. He placed 18th in the 100 butterfly and 21st in the 50 butterfly at NESCAC championships, where he also set a school record with the 200 medley relay team.
