Julia graduated from Palo Alto High School and played softball. She was the team MVP and a first team all-league selection.
AT COLBY
Julia is majoring in Environmental Science-Computation. She is a COOT leader, a Senior Admissions fellow, and a Student Athletic Advisory Committee member. She interned in marketing operations at Adaptive Insights and SAP Ariba.
2018 season highlights: Saul had a stellar final season with the Mules, starting all 30 games. She finished first on the team in putouts (129), first in RBI (12), and tied for second in hits (19). She also had eight runs, nine doubles, and 23 defensive assists. Julia pitched in 14 games, throwing for six complete games and striking out 24 batters on 63.2 innings pitched.
2017 season highlights: Julia had three wins and had six complete games while throwing 83.1 innings. She did have solid control, walking just 19 batters.
2016 season highlights: Saul played in 18 games in her sophomore season, finishing the year with eight hits, two RBI, three runs, and four walks on 32 at-bats. Saul appeared in 19 games pitching for the Mules, making 16 starts. She finished the season with a record of 8-7, seven complete games, 98.1 innings pitched, 67 strikeouts, and a 2.99 ERA.
2015 season highlights: Saul started in 16 games as a pitcher and appeared in 21 games. Julia compiled a 7-10 record and led the Mules in victories, a 3.58 earned run average, 10 complete games, and 107.2 innings pitched.
